The hotel is located just 48 km from the Terra Mystica Mine, making it a convenient base for exploring the intriguing volcanic landscapes. The staff was particularly welcoming, always ready to assist with local tips and recommendations. This personal touch added to the overall experience, making me feel more connected to the vicinity. The interiors showcased a tasteful mix of contemporary comfort and rustic charm, striking a fine balance that offered both coziness and functionality. As a landscape photographer, I appreciated the amazing surroundings. The proximity to various natural attractions provided ample opportunity for some stunning photography, from majestic waterfalls to wild coastlines. This guesthouse not only served as a comfortable home base but also allowed for deep dives into Icelandic culture and its majestic landscapes, encouraging me to soak up every moment of my journey.
